STILL CHANCE TO RUN IN THE AL NUJAIFI SCANDINAVIAN ARAB DERBY
The €10.000 Al Nujaifi Scandinavian Arab Derby for 4 year old purebred arabians will traddionally be held on the Swedish Derby on Jägersro (Malmö - Sweden) on august 8. This year the race is sponsored by Al Nujafi Farms in Iraq - one of the oldest existing purebred arabian studs in the world. Entries for the race is open until declaration day (friday, july 30 @ 09.30 GMT +1 hour)

ANNOUNCING THE ARABIAN RACEHORSE WORLD CHALLENGE
Soon the Arabian Racehorses will have their equivalent to the Thoroughbred Breeders Cup World Championship.
The Arabian Racehorse World Challenge will be a yearly event of eight nominated Arabian stakes races to be held on one single race day. Eight races, of various conditions, will have a cumulative guaranteed purse amount of no less than $1,000,000.00 USD. Runners from nominated stallions will compete in races spanning 6F to 1 1/2 miles, both on dirt and turf.

UAE DUBAI RACE DAY AT HAMBURG
Once again as in 2009 and the years before, the DRAV was guest at this year’s Hamburg Derby week at the racetrack in Hamburg Horn. Thanks to top sponsors from the United Arab Emirates, such as the Jumeirah Hotel Group, the Emirates Airlines, the Dubai Airport and naturally the Shadwell Stud Farm.

A GLORIOUS DAY FOR DUTCH ARABIAN RACING
On Sunday 11 July, thousands of people visited the racecourse Duindigt, which forms part of the centuries old Duindigt estate. A huge crowd, attracted by advertisements on local buses, in the equestrian newspapers, posters in riding schools, and other forms of publicity organized by the Dutch Arabian Racing Committee, came to watch what turned out to be a fantastic day, filled with sunshine and very good racing.
