Speaking to reporters at a press conference held at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm, Ms Lara Sawaya, director of the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Racing Festival and Head of IFAHR ladies racing, said speakers from all over the leading racing schools will attend the conference on the final days of the H. H. Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Flat Racing Festival's Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Cup and Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Championship (IFAHR) races.
"This important conference is being held under the directives of HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs," said Ms Sawaya.
"The Abu Dhabi conference will be for two days and it is open to all. At the end of the conference there will be a Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak EARS Apprentice Jockeys race for both male and female jockeys and plans are ahead to make it an annual event," she said.
However, there will be a Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak EARS Apprentice Jockeys race on Nov.11, this year when the final races of the Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Cup and Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Championship (IFAHR) rounds will be held at the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club.
Susanna Santesson is the president of the EARS and the organization was formed in 2000."It was initiated by EARS, with the leading racing schools from France, England, Ireland, Italy and Germany in order to have a higher level of education and training in the racing industry."
The H.H Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Flat Racing Festival is organized to promote purebred Arabians in different parts of the world with the sponsors being by the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority and co-ordinated by Abu Dhabi Sports Council in association with Emirates Racing Authority ,IFAHR and Emirates Arabian Horse Society, supported by General Authority for Youth and Sports and Fegentri with Emirates airlines as the official carrier and sponsored by Invest AD, Al Rashid Investment, Areej Al Ameerat, Mauzan, Al Awani General Enterprises, Kabale, the UAE's General Women's Union, the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 2012, Wathba Stud Farm and Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club.
