Qatar, Jordan Saudi Arabia and the Emirates will align some starters next to the best horses of the Netherlands, France, Germany, Switzerland and of course Belgium !

The H.H. Sh.Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Flat Racing Festival, centralised in Abu Dhabi with Mrs. Lara Sawaya as super-active Director, integrated for the first time Belgium in the calendar of the Festival and generously sponsored. Let H.H. Sheikh Mansoor and Lara find here the expression of our deepest gratitude.
Another first on this occasion, is the willingness of a Belgian track to take part in the sponsoring of races for Arab horses. This is totally new and proves that racing for Arab horses is now also in Belgium, considered as valuable as TB-racing.

The fields are interesting with well-known silks represented and famous trainers aligning their « pupils » at the start : for example , Jean-Pierre Totain , famous as a trainer in France and considered among the best ( especially for steeple-chase races), Jan Pubben , top-trainer in Holland for Thoroughbreds and Arabs, Sandrine Tarrou, among the better trainers in France, Karin Van den Bos, winning recently in Berlin two major races of the Festival’s series, Diana Dörenberg who went on to win the bonus for best trainer of the Wathba Stud Farm Cup-series last year… to name just a few ….

On the occasion of the “Grand Prix de Wallonie”, the Hippodrome de Mons (Ghlin) will be rather festive and entertainment for the whole family is provided …
Come and meet us there from 14h00 onwards!! The Grand Prix, with the fastest trotters of Europe starting, is planned at 16h30 and the races for Arab horses are scheduled at 17h30 and 18h20 respectively.
