The DARC board has just received wonderful news from the U.A.E. Equestrian & Racing Federation: it pleases His Highness Dr.Sultan bin Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan, President of the Equestrian & Racing Federation, to support two international group III races in the Netherlands. It is with great pleasure that we can announce the Group III race for 4-year old horses over 2000 meter, "The President of the U.A.E Challenge Derby"; And a group III race for 3-year old horses over 1800 meter, "The Abu Dhabi Championship". On September 11th at Duindigt, Wassenaar. On this occasion we are most honoured to welcome Colonel Hussein Mohammed Hussein, Secretary-General of the U.A.E Equestrian & Racing Federation and his right-hand man, mr. Neil Abrahams. In addition to the generous purse, the Equestrian & Racing Federation will provide crystal trophies for the winning owners, trainers and jockeys. Entry stage Monday August 29, 10 AM Declaration stage Monday Sept. 5, 10 AM Entry fee Dutch entries € 100.- Entry fee non-Dutch entries € 100.- + € 25.- administration fee. We look very much forward to meeting all our racing friends on Sunday 11 September!
