Stockholm Cup Day on sunday sept 11 at Täby is the biggest and most prestigeous race meet in Scandinavia. With no less than 4 pattern/Black Type races for thoroughbreds, including the Group 3 races "Stockholm Cup" and "Täby Opne Sprint Championships". But also the steeplechase race "His Majesty The Kings Cup" and the hurdles race "Her Majesty The Queens Cup". The televised race day normally sees some 6,000 spectators. This year under the patronage of HRH Princess Madeleine. Since last year we have been given an arabian race at this meeting, and thanks to the generous sponsoring of HH Sheik Sultan bin Zayed al Nayhan we are now able to present "Wrsan Stables UAE -Stockholm Arabian Cup" with a purse of approx 10,000 Euro. The race is a stakes race over 10F dirttrack. Scandinavian Arabian Racing Association welcomes all arabian racing enthusiasts to Stockholm next sunday!
