Mash Hour, Owned by Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and ridden by F. Billieres, came second followed by Jawad Al Kheir, owned by Al. Aweet Stables and ridden by O.Trigodet.

Run over a distance of 1,600 metres, the race for three-year-old horses attracted 12 horses from USA, France, Ireland and Germany. In another related race Jakadeero bagged the Abu Dhabi Challenge Cup run over a distance of 1,600 metres. The race featured 16 horses from Ireland, Germany, France and Britain. All the races were sponsored by UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation.
