With a total purse of R$ 100.000,00 (One Hundred Thousand Reais), Brazilian’s very best Arabian Horses and Mares line up for the first Grade 3 PA on Saturday, the 22nd of July,
From 12.30 pm, local time, the Purebred Arabian Horse will be featured center stage at Hipódromo de Cidade Jardim. The first three races on the card will be part of the Wathba Stallion Cup Festival and are worth R$ 100.000,00 (One Hundred Thousand Reais) in prizemoney.

Hipódromo de Cidade Jardim is ready to receive the best Purebred Arabian Horses and Mares of Brazil for this prestigious event which is sponsored by the Wathba Stallion Cup Festival whose banners are lining the turf track in anticipation of some exciting action on the track.

Besides the huge purse, it is important to highlight the beauty of the winners’ trophies. The branded saddle pads are ready to be partnered with the cream of the crop of Brazilian’s Purebred Arabian racehorses. Everything is set for an amazing day of racing with all gratitude going to the Wathba Stallion Cup Festival.

We open the meeting with the Special Prize Quazar - Wathba Stallion Cup, over 1.000 meters on the turf. Seven horses are contending for the R$ 10.000,00 (Ten Thousand Reais) purse. For five of the seven runners, this will be their first start.

In the second race, seven of the best mares in training are looking to triumph in the first ever Grade 3 race for mares, the GP Mahabb - Wathba Stallion Cup, run over 1.400 meters on the turf. The purse of the GP Mahabb is R$ 45.000,00 (Forty-Five Thousand Reais) and the competitors running for the glory are Ciranda Ve, Miss El Chall Ajr, Zells Zenyatta, Guinevere Rach, Vertente Rach, Cantiga Ve and Zells Kate.

The Grade 3 GP Munjiz - Wathba Stallion Cup will conclude the Festival. This Purebred Arabian race is also run over 1400 m on the turf. Brazil’s best eight runners will enter the starting gates for this race, which has all the ingredients for a real thrilling finish. Rhondo Rach, Velozter, Amb Acalanto, Kazan RB, Mozart Hvp, Marei Rach, Mahogany Hvp and Heron Hvp are vying for the R$ 45.000,00 (Forty-Five Thousand Reais) purse at 13.30 pm local time.

Everybody is invited to watch and feel the excitement of Brazilian Purebred Arabian Racing, at Hipódromo de Cidade Jardim, on Saturday, the 22nd of July 2017. The Entrance is free.
