The 28th of April 2002 at the racetrack Anfa at Casablanca/Morocco the first international raceday was hold.

5 races of which two had international participation from Italy, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and France were raced. (For race results please check the results area) Hubert Lorenz –secretary of IFAHR- were invited to visit that great event. Mr. Lorenz and the WAHO delegate Mrs. Val Bunting could form an impression about the professional standard of breeding and racing and see the races on the top-class track in Casablanca. Another item on the program was the visit of the stud farm in Buznika, owned by his majesty King of Morocco. This stud farm is probably unique in the world and each visitor is fascinated about this perfect haven for horses. IFAHR would express it’s thanks for this invitation and wish Morocco all the best for the future, so that the sports of Arabian horseracing may get on well. Also special thanks to the Executive Board member of IFAHR Mr. Amid Abdelhamid for his personal efforts and organisation of a successful event.
