The Dutch Arabian Racing Committee (DARC)is organizing a Derby for Arabian Racehorses. Racing in a Derby in 4 years time, means we have to start organize things now.

North European Derby in 2008! The Dutch Arabian Racing Committee (DARC)is organizing a Derby for Arabian Racehorses. Racing in a Derby in 4 years time, means we have to start organize things now. The DARC challenges every breeder of Arabian Thoroughbreds to claim that his or her foal will win the North European Derby and of course…to put his money were his mouth is. You can obtain an entry form at the address below (preferably through e-mail). Entry Rules Foals born in Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands in 2004 can be entered in the Derby of 2008 held on Duindigt Racetrack in the Netherlands. The entry must be received by the DARC together with a copy of the owners form before the 31st of December 2004. The owner is responsible for timely payment of the entry fees. If the horse is sold the horse can still compete in the Derby, if the new owner makes himself known to the DARC and continues to pay the entry fees. Any late payment of entry fees can be seen as a withdrawl from the race. Withdrawn horses can not re-enter and late entries are not allowed. Paid entry-fees will be retained to finally being added to the price money. We have found a sponsor that contributes the first 3.000 euro price money.
